The Department of Labor and Employment Regional Coordinating Council (DOLE-RCC) is set to conduct this year’s Single Entry Approach Desk Officers (SEADO) Training on July 4-5, 2022 at Aureo Resort, City of San Fernando, La Union.

This was planned during the Council’s meeting in May 2022, which was originally intended to be held this month. Problems in scheduling forced it to be moved on a later date.

The training is aimed to provide DOLE and its attached agencies additional SEADOs to handle labor disputes at the conciliation level. Each RCC member is to send one participant while DOLE field offices will be fielding two trainees each.

NCMB Regional Branch No. 1 and the National Lavor Relations Commission RAB-1 will serve as learning resource speakers. NCMB’s Cesar Julio Cacayuran and Lester Panem will be handling the discussions on the overview of the SENA Program, salient features of RA 10396, conciliation-mediation techniques, and reportorial requirements.

NLRC will provide a discussion on labor jurisprudence.
