Coca-Cola Beverages Philippines, Inc. Calasiao Plant and Carlatan Distribution Center carried a two-day training on grievance handling on April 6-7, 2022.
Twenty eigth participants from the Calasiao Sales Force Union (CSFU) and the Samahan ng mga Roteros sa Carlatan for the Grievance Handling Enhancement Seminar with the help of the National Conciliation and Mediation Board Regional Branch No. 1.
Ms. Eloisa Joy Mabutas, People Head of CCBPI, planned the event the previous month which came after the successful learning session held at Calasiao Plant & Related Companies Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Calasiao, Pangasinan last April 5, 2022.
Sup LEO Cesar D. Cacayuran presented Grievance Handling: “Resolving Dispute thru the Grievance Machinery and Labor Management Cooperation”. He emphasized the exhaustion of the bi-partite alternative mechanism in resolving disputes and to engage the LMC on issues not covered by the GM. He also advised them to re-visit their CBA particularly on LMC & GM provisions. Both CBAs of the unions will expire on the year 2023.
Interim Union President Arnel Nicdao, Samahan ng mga Roteros sa Carlatan thanked the Branch for the very informative discussion, and in like manner was advised to feel free to visit the Branch for any clarification needed.
The session was divided into 2 batches. The 1st batch was held at the CCBPI-Calasiao Plant while the 2nd batch was held at the CCBPI-Carlatan Plant.
